I went to him for for or five years, but finally switched to someone else because his hygenists seem to do all the work. After a number of return trips for re-dos because the hygenists just dont have his level of expertise, I decided it would be the hygenists and not Dr.Ellis who would be doing the work....even after requesting he do the work himself. He's a great dentist....if only it was him that the client sees rather than his assistants.Report AbuseWrite a comment ...cassparillaThat s typically how dental practices work: the hygienists do the cleaning, the doctor comes in and checks their work. He seems ok, but I don't know how you guys are seeing this since the dental hygienist do all the work, so im confused. Maybe, Ill get a better indication next time, I am going back so i wasn't completely dissatisfied.
I think most of his reviews are coming from his patients that have been with him through the years when he was in a smaller office. Grant you it is hard to get a personal moment with him now that he has expanded, but I believe that just comes with him being so busy. I hope you continue your visits. He is great in his field and a wonderful person as well. Good luck!06/06/11
