User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsMy husband and I have been going there for 11 years. I have yet to eat BBQ there! The shrimp is amazing! You don't need a knife for the chicken fried steak. This is a restaurant that takes you back in time. The food and service have never faltered.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsBBQ Inn, or as my son called it when he was small, "Chicken Fried Steak Inn" has the best chicken fried steak& white gravy in the city! I also enjoy the waitresses that always remember you when you return over and over. Their shrimp is also delicious and I enjoy their baked potatoe and fresh cold salads also.
It is very reasonably priced with a clean atmosphere also. Be ready to stand in line(especially evening on weekends) if you can't you can dine at the bar on a stool.
I also like the fact that you can order half orders and still get a meat, salad and a side for a smaller price.

Guess you need to stick to greasy spoon wetback food ..
Phoney Baloney- Barbecue Inn has no waiters, only waitresses. Martinez' review is totally false. And barbecue inn is off-the-charts wonderful and has been for half a decade.
