    I have not eaten at the Goode's on Katy Fry. but my family and I have been eating at ther resturant on Kirby for years and it is very good. We did live at Crystal Beach, Texas at one time and we would drive to Houston just to eat at their Kirby place. All of the sides are very good. The pecan pie is the best I have ever eaten. You won't go wrong eating there.

    You call this BBQ? The food is dry and tasteless! I was extremely disappointed with Goode and I will never go to any of their restaurants in the near future. My BBQ is 100 times better than this establishement and I am not a Chef. Save your money and go somewhere else!

    I ate at the new 290 location with my dad and brother-in-law a few weeks ago shortly after it first opened. I will NEVER eat at another Goode Compnay BBQ again!!! The sliced beef sandwhich I ordered had so much gristle that I thought I lost a filling!! Not only was the meat full of nasty grsitle but was also DRY as a bone (probably b/c it was full of ground of bones). Everyone in my family was disgusted and we felt like we wasted our time and money. The bill for 2 BBQ plates and my small measley sandwhich was close to $40!! Sooo... my advice for anyone wanting to try this place ... unless you want nasty food and high prices, DONT EAT AT GOODE COMPANY BBQ!!!! They should change their sign to
    'NOT-SO-GOOD' BBQ!!!
