| About: | This popular cafe offers the perfect blend of down-home atmosphere and cooking. The walls sport pictures and relics from years gone by, creating the feel of a roadside diner from the 1940s or 1950s. The menu delivers a full range of dishes from Mom's Meatloaf to the Texas Burger to chicken-fried steak with gravy and mashed potatoes. If you are feeling fancier than that, go for one of the fabulous cuts of steak. It is also a great place for breakfast if you have time to stop by in the morning. |

I have liked this place less each time I've gone there. The food is institutional - especially the side dishes. The coffee is hit or miss. Grungy interior and I really hate eating with a bunch of old dusty crap and plants over my table - like in the back room.
It's hard to ruin breakfast though. It's ok. Skip the hash browns though. Total waste of potatoes.
cheap greasey and great. the breakfast tacos are amazing. i suggest getting three at a time. Mamas is what id call dirty good.
I found a roach in my food....a big one. The waiter killed it and laughed it off but I never went back. I guess it could happen anywhere but this place did not look really clean anyway. Sorry, but my Mama never had this problem!
