I purchased from nissan, they insisted on an inspection of the vehicle at the termination of the lease , this was to verify that "nissan insists on selling its customers a safe vehicle to insure they are driving away feeling safe". For this inspection they charge 150 dollars. The inspection that was performed was less than 10 minutes. I feel less safe leaving my vehicle with nissan because I dont know what you could see in 10 minutes, you couldnt even put it up on a rack let alone inspect it in ten minutes with the full service dept they had that day. I do not believe nissan has the customer in mind but they are happy to charge you for looking at your car. they didnt even have the courtesy to offer to wash the car they were selling. I have a family and I would never trust nissan to do what they said they would do based on the way they treated me. When I asked this be removed as a charge, they said this was common practice and Ic ould call a 1800 number . Why should a customer call a 1800 number to discuss a local issue when it is plain they didnt do what they were supposed to do ? I would never recommend this dealership and would never recommend nissan financing , you are better off leasing a car from someone else. The better business bureau should look into their practices. It is shameful that they call a ten minute view " an inspection".
All I can say is buyer beware!!!!! The sales department was great, but the service department is the WORST I have ever seen. I took my car in twice within a month to have the same problem fixed that they didn't take care of the first time. They kept my car SIX days to replace a fuse and then REFUSED to diagnose the problem that caused the fuse to go out. The Service Advisor - the worst - would never call and update me of the status, Nissan Corporation has yet to contact me, though I've had a case file open regarding this for a week. When asking to speak to Brad Baker the owner, they don't even have the courtesy of letting me speak to him. Nobody at that dealership cares and it wasn't until I filed a complaint with the BBB that I finally received a call and they asked me to give them a second chance. When I picked up my car, they still acted like they didn't want to be bothered to diagnose the problem. I guess they don't need my business? So, now I'm driving a vehicle that could act up at any time, leaving me stranded without taillights and the chance to get rear ended and killed if driving at night. WOW, that's what they win service awards for (supposedly)? Never again. Sorry Nissan. Baker Jackson has lost you a repeat customer and recommendations to your dealership. You need to work on your people skills. With the economy and flat car sales, one would think Baker Jackson would try to hold onto business.
Worst place to go and buy a car. I was a first time buyer and made the mistake of letting the PIGS know. They took agvantage of that and my lack of knowledge. They knew I wanted a new Nissan Altima so bad that they milked me. I'm almost ashamed to say the down payment I put down on the car. After the deal was final saw the saleman and his manager hit each other fist as in saying, "we got another sucker!!" HATE HATE HATE that I am in this deal and wish I would have never gone there!!!
