Snaptastic. Try the lamb shank. No need to add an appi even if you are famished. The shank shows up lickity split and it is a meal. It's osso bucco style. Whatever, this is not the cross section cut of shank you might expect. It's a frickin shank (ankle up to joint and around the corner up into the next bone). Marrow at both ends. Be sure to ask for a skewer so you can get that good stuff outta the bone. A little caveman, but hey. Put a bit of salt on it, and take a snip of the parsley that came on top of the shank for looks. Then you'll know why I'm here gushing. Try a cab. with it. Fall Apart Tender. You know when you stick a fork into tender chicken how you pick up the whole chunk O'muscle with your fork. Not here, this is falling apart tender.
The sauteed mixed greens were ok but.... there's a hint of liquid smoke or something that may not be for everybody. I'm going back asap
Loved it! The gyros was wonderful. So much food for such a good price. Will definitely go back and will recommend to other people.
Delicious!! Try it!: The best Greek food we've had in Houston. Highly recommended. Wonderfully tasty hummus, chicken slovaki, spanokopita, and stuffed grape leaves (also called dolmathes). Don't forget to try the bakilova for dessert (I always bring some home because I never have any room left!)
