I have purchased 2 cars from John Eagle Honda. A pre-owned Civic from Salesman Patrick Bement 3 years ago and recently a 2009 Honda Civic. I was treated wonderfully by Patrick, the sales manager and the finance manager, Ammar Sheikh on the pre-owned deal. I had all of my service completed at John Eagle Honda until I traded in the pre-owned Civic with 142,000 miles on it. The service department was top notch in every regard. They always had a loaner car for me if I needed it. When I traded for my new 2009 Honda Civic, I was helped by Sales Consultant, Ronnie Rodriguez. He treated my wife and I in excellent fashion. Again we were helped by Ammar Sheikh, who was the Sales Manager this time. We walked out of the dealership, 100% satisfied in every area. I would highly recommend this dealership to any of my best friends, without reservation, because I know how they will be treated. This is the best dealership I have ever been at - Period!!!!!!
First car buying experience. Pretty much new what to expect going in but didn't know just how low they would stoop to make a sale. Luckily for me, I knew more about the car then they did. The blue book price w/ all the options was about $23,000 and I got for $18,000. Found out later that the car is also Certified Pre-owned adding another $2,000 to the value. Offered me a "free cruise" with my purchase which I baited on knowing the value of the car and their price of the car, I figured it was a win/win. Turns out the cruise was just a huge scam and the man pitching the idea to me was named Dan Davis. He's in charge of the internet sales division. Basically the man looked me in the eyes and lied to my face.
Moral of the story, don't believe ANY car salesman.
This experience may be too long to write a review about. Unfortunately, this may be one of the worst car dealerships I have ever tried to buy a car from. I have grown up in the car business and I am familiar with some of the tricks. My bad experience took things to a new level and I had to complain to the GM of the dealership. He proved to be just the same as the sales manager. I talked with the sales manager and then drove to the dealership to see a car. Sorry we just sold that one the sales manager told me. Then, they made some very strong promises that were never backed-up. They both lied on many discussions and I had the documentation to prove them wrong. This place is not worth the bait and switch headache and I will never be back!
