| About: | Japanese businessmen make up 80 percent of this Teppay's clientele, but that does not mean everyone is not welcome. It simply proves that the food is authentic enough to satisfy the Japanese themselves. What more could you want in a Japanese restaurant? Assorted menu items are available, but the sushi is the hands-down favorite of diners. Pricing is moderate and a glass of house wine is available at a decent amount. Reservations are recommended, but not required. |

Here is a great Japanese restaurant in Houston.I am Japanese. The restaurant reminds me of my mother's cooking and foods in Japan. The restaurant is a little Japan. I think Americans can enjoy the foods.Even if they like "only Sushi", the sushi is great.I highly recommend you to visit the restaurant and eat authentic Japanese cuisine.
I have had the pleasure of living and eating Sushi in Japanese for several years and I found this to be very similar to some of the better places that I dines at. Very traditional atmosphere and the food is second to none. You can not go wrong in eating here. I eat there as often as I can.
I have only been to Teppay one time and it could have been a bad day, but it was the 2nd worst sushi I have had in Houston. The food was bland and didn't taste fresh.
