Potatoe Patch Restaurant

This has been my favorite resturant sice I was a kid. I love the food and the service. I go mainly to have those delicious Fried Green Tomatoes(The best in town!!). I recommend this place to everyone I know. Its a country homestyle setting and you can feel comfortable eating there. I love the "throwed Rolls". Please keep serving the fried green tomatoes and other delicious food. This place is awesome!

Excellent Lunch Specials: I stopped in for lunch and found the food to be awesome. The staff was very friendly and the passarounds were very good and a welcome suprise. I had the Chicken Fried Steak which was tender and more than enough to fill you up. Mashed potatos, gravy and cooked carrots were extremely tasty. The servers brought around hot rolls, fried okra, fried green tomatoes and a fruit muffin. They were still offering me food and I could not eat another bite. It was a great place to eat and I will return as often as I am in the area.

Used to be a favorite of mine!: I had moved away from Houston for about 5 years and recently moved back. Went here because i had fond memories of this place and was really disappointed with it. The waiter was great but the owner riding around on his scooter was nice to the customers but very rude to his staff. I was shocked at how he acted. Also the food was not as good as it used to be plus i missed the fun atmosphere it used to have. I'm sorry to say i want go back and my friend that was with says she want either.
