food is ok not great for this side of town. prices are way over priced. service is good but do they expect a tip every single time??? (hey buddy just gimme my f00d and let me be without making me feel guilty that i didn't give u a dang tip!) plenty of other good boat's to eat in other places around town sept' this one is the only around for a couple of miles
Small though economical...great food!!! Customer Service is refreshing....
If you compare seafood to New Orleans and it's not, you will be very disappointed. New Orleans restaurants put spices ( pepper, salt, garlic etc..) on their food before you get it. That's the key ingredient to New Orleans style seafood restaurants. Over all the food was pretty good. It is mostly locals there but the food could stand up to your other more expensive restaurants. But If you are looking for New Orleans style seafood, I suggest you take a trip there, because New Orleans style it is not. The gumbo was very tasty, and has a great flavor. The price is very affordable and a very friendly atmosphere.
BTW I lived and ate New Orleans style food for 48yrs, so you can trust me on this review.
