I really like Dr Hertel and the staff is nice. But not nice enough to deal with the wait there. The clinic is first come first serve. However they don't tell you that when you make an appointment. They open at 8am on Saturdays and I made an appointment for 8:45am thinking for once the appointment would be on time. However I did not see the vet till 9:30. There were 2 people who walked in before I got there and were seen first. And they were not emergencies. I finally asked the staff on this visit why I was never ever seen anywhere close to the time my appointments were. They told me the doctors wanted it to be first come first serve. My husband will never be able to take off from work to go over there b/c there is no real guarentee when his appointment might be. It's too bad because the prices are good and I like Dr Hertel alot. It is a good vet if you have time to kill.

She is the best exotic pet vet in the area. She is a little expensive but if you need treatment for your loved one then spare no expense for the best pet doctor.
