    The glowing reviews reflect nothing of the experience we had a Cafe Dubois. If I were a conspiracy theorist I would believe these to be planted postings. We did not find this restaurant quaint and inviting. We found quite the opposite. We think it is overpriced for only decent food. I think they do have an issue with service. I can honestly not understand the glowing reviews. We live in Kingwood with quite a few very good restaurants. This is not one of them.

    I tried to plan my parent's 50th anniversary at Cafe Du Bois. I could not get any call backs from the manager so I left messages for the owner. He was unaccomodating to our needs and surprisingly unfriendly considering the amt. we were willing to pay. I decided to go elsewhere, and Cafe Du Bois missed out on over $2,000 worth of business and 40 plus guests.

    I moved to the USA 11 years ago, and this Restaurant is brilliant... we frequent it ofter, for dinner with friends and family and are never disappointed. The menu offers a wide selection of choices, and the flavour and presentation of the food is excellent. The atmosphere is pleasant, and the service is superb ... my only whinge is that the chocolate souffle is not on the lunch menu!
