I was a fan of this place for many years, but no longer. I inquired once about an item, they said they did not have it but it was on order. Once it came in, I was called incessantly, with the statement that my order had come in. I returned the call to say I did not need this item any longer and was treated as if I were wasting their time, because they went out of their way to order it for me, specifcaly. Supposedly this item was on order before any request of my own. Then I attempted to sell some of my own handmade items here. Lucia refused to consider any type of monetary compensation, and only allowed me to have a credit toward purchases. I called several times to learn if the items were popular, with no response to my messages. I finally walked in and learned that they had sold, but no one cared to let me know inspite of my inquiry. A request was made, that I remake an item there to the client's specifications, but I was so put off by the whole experience that I have never returned. Now for the good stuff. Whoever the buyer is, has great taste in items. For years I would shop here exclusively, in order to maintain the presance of Lucia's Garden. The atmosphere is warm and inviting as was the staff at one time. Trutfully, I will miss this place, but because of various experiences over a long period of time, I found myself, unattracted.
