| About: | The counter service at Goode Company Seafood is not for those looking to be pampered, but it fits the bill perfectly for those interested in a casual, friendly dining experience. The unusual location inside an old railroad car is very charming and enhances appeal. Some menu items, can be pricey but are well worth the cost. |

This is the first one. I can't remember what the seafood cocktail is named but they advertise it out front. It is awesome with lots of crab and shrimp. This is a great place.
Best Seafood Restaurant in Houston: Great seafood but facility need major overhaul. Their other location on I-10 is great.
You HAVE to try this restaurant!: There hasn't been a time that I've been here that I don't leave satisfied. The food is wonderful and it's always more than you can eat at once ( for the average person, not the bottomless stocmached). I like the one on Westpark and Kirby better than I-10 and Gessner, just because of the atmosphere. You can say that this is possibly the best seafood in the city. Now the prices may make you gasp, but it's well worth it and more if you enjoy eating quality cuisine. Anyone who comes to visit me here in Houston has to be taken to Goode Co. or they have been cheated out of a real treat. Just ask my best friend. She lives in IN and still talks about the food! As a matter of fact, she reccommended the restaurant to her friend when he came here on vacation. You know it must be good if she lives over 1,000 miles away and can still tell someone to give it a try! Kudos to the chef and all the friendly staff! I will forever be a patron.

I totally agree. We've been taking all of our out of town guests fo the Kirby location since the 1980's including those from other coasts that would know good seafood. I consider it the best seafood I've ever had and I'm from Corpus Christi where we buy the shrimp right off the boats. The mesquite grilled dinners are the best but I love the campechana. Yum-Oh!
