Wonderful place....worth the trip!: We live in the Woodlands and made a reservation for a Friday night. Needless to say, there was an accident on 59 and we were delayed by at least 30 minutes. I was sure they'd give away our table on a Friday night, but the staff at the River Oaks Grill couldn't have been more gracious. We had a lovely table, we were totally pampered and they never rushed us. The food was fantastic and the martini was the best I've had in Houston.

Getting a little tired.: Fine old establishment, getting a little worn and tired. Lots of "blue" hair ladies with maids waiting at home.
