We had our wedding here November 8, 2003. Maria and Wayne went out of their way to help us create our special evening. Ella's Garden was beautiful back then and this was BEFORE the many additions they have added over the years. I have recommended Ella's Garden to several couples and most of them chose Ella's. We searched the entire area before we found this gem in the woods. We had no issues, problems or anything other than we wished we had purchased more time as it goes by so fast! They gave us a night to remember and memories we will never, ever forget. Everyone who attended our wedding was impressed and thought that Ella's was the most beautiful place they had ever seen. THIS IS THE PLACE TO HAVE YOUR DREAM WEDDING. We absolutely loved Ella's Garden, and especially Maria and Wayne. They are very special people with an exceptional gift offering a truly stunning venue to begin your new life. Ella's Garden, with out question, is simply the most elegant, wonderful, impressive and beautiful place to have your wedding, reception, renewal vows, Red Hat Ladies luncheon, any special event wherein you want lasting memories. You will not be disappointed!
The ceremony itself was flawless. Beautiful and very touching for my step daughter. But so many other things went wrong. Mostly due to miscommunication between the coordinators and owner. The one didn't know what the other had promised or agreed to and on the day rehearsal night we were given a new coordinator who knew nothing of past conversations. They were scant on the amount of appetizers offered to guests thus ran out way too early. The drinks offered were limited and ran out way too soon; gazebo lights were not turned on for the ceremony. My husband and other members of the wedding party were outside setting up chairs for the ceremony because not enough employees showed up early enough. Two of the three bathrooms were not functioning half way thru the evening....I could go on but you get the idea. Review EVERYTHING and make sure you have EVERYTHING in writing so there is no question as to what YOU want and what YOU expect for YOUR wedding. Because YOU are paying for it, not them.
My daughter had her reception there June 14,2008.
There were a few bumps in the road. The night of the reception everything was absolutely excellent. The food was delicious, the cake was extremely good and exactly what my daughter ordered.
Michele made sure everything ran so smoothly we felt spoiled. The grounds are beautiful and the inside was simple but elegant. I would recommend this place to anyone for their wedding or reception.
August 16, 2008 our granddaughter Gayle married Joshua Meeler, and I never took the opportunity to comment on their lovely wedding. We had a great time at their wedding and the guests commented that the ceremony was lovely, but due to the Texas heat, the wedding service was performed indoors. The Mexican menu was tasty, the bar flowed nicely, the wedding cakes delicious. Gayle and Josh s colorscheme of turquoiise and brown were nice. We just attended our granddauughter Jacque s marriage to Matt on 3/16/12 at Lindsay Lakes in Cypress, and this wedding was wonderful too.
