Mc Kenzie's Burgers & Fries

Well, having a large family of 5, I can say each and every week that we eat at McKenzies, we walk away satisfied (busting at the seams). The consitancy of their service and quality of food is outstanding. Imagine, being able to feed a family of 5 for UNDER $30.00! One of those members being someone whom can't eat bread either. (celiac) We can't eat at ANY fast food chain for that. Not only do you get what you pay for, the meat is second to none. Fresh and juicy. The fries as well are home made, fresh cut from the potato. I personally attend the Conroe location and have seen it grow from a "shack" to a large establishment. Way to go guys! Keep on going!

I don't know who wrote the 08/27/2008 review, but the REAL truth needs to be heard. A little common sense & discernment will reveal the level of maturity of the author of that review and that their goal was to defamate a long-time family-owned business in our community.

The McKenzie's restaurants are the pride of our community. The family that owns them are some of the most respected citizens of our community. Take the word of someone who's been eating there for 11 years, versus the rage of someone who could only hold a job for less than 8 months. If you want the best food in town, go to McKenzie's. If you want the most quantity of food for the price, go to McKenzie's. McKenzie's offers more in a combo meal than any fast food chain, and at a lower price. What's more, when you walk into McKenzie's, you feel right at home. There's a sense of community that few places like that can offer.

I've never had much respect for people who choose to take their own inadequacies out on others, but I do have respect for a Christian business owner that has run a respectable business in the community of Huntsville, TX for many years. That's the McKenzie's I know.

The Bottom Line -- McKenzie's is WONDERFUL! If you want to walk out of restaurant, knowing you got the best deal in town and a gut that's grateful, then go to McKenzie's. I should know, I just left there and my goodness, it was good!

oh my god: oh my god.............their hamburgers and fries are great. My husband and I love to go on the $5 days.........it's such a great deal. That is including the drink and beans too. We get so full we have to practically crawl back to the car. We love them.
