| About: | Bring the kids along for your visit to this somewhat boisterous cafe. Live bands further spice up the experience several nights a week, but most diners find the turn-of-the-century interior to be interesting enough all by itself. The burgers, chicken-fried steaks and sandwiches are all good, but side orders and desserts are the real taste treats. Try the special sausage-sauerkraut balls and see for yourself. The cafe does not offer a bar but you can take your pick of several beers and wines. |

I have been to Wunsche Brothers several times hoping that each time they might live up to their reputation. Unfortunately, that is not the case. Tonight we tried again and the prices were not suitable for the portions you get. Everything you order that is not the main dish is extra. The place appeared deserted when we arrived. Although, there were a few patrons inside. We left before ordering and opted to go elsewhere. We will not try again at Wunsche Brothers.
Can someone please tell me how this place got it's reputation?? The burgers were raw and the french fries (which you have to pay extra for) were dry. My daughter, who LOVES french fries wouldn't eat them. PUFFABELLY'S is MUCH better. I had a burger there last week and it was DELICIOUS!!!
poor poor poor. i have been eating here for 25 years and it has always been great. my wife and i went there today after not going for a while due to illness. the cfs was always the best-- thick round steak cooked just right. since my last visit it has gone down down down. it is now a thin pounded out cube steak, poor in quality and taste. the steak did not come with the french fries and got cold waiting on them. also the price had gone up $5. we could have eaten at Texas Road House for $10 less and been totally satisfied and not felt cheated to the hilt. my advice---do not bother with this place. save your money or go to Mels or TRH

Totally agree unhappy, they have gone way down hill and prices have been increased ridicuously especially for the portions and quality that you get. I will never be back. We went to Mel's instead. Recently we went to Texas Roadhouse and had a wonderful meal also. However, my favorite will still have to be PF Chang's.
