User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsThis is only the best non-chain Mexican food restauant ever! I live in Houston and have an unlimited selection of Mexican food. I have tried almost all of them, but this Huntsville restaurant kicks a$$. The salsa is great, I have always had good service, and the price is unbelievably low. These bad reviews must be from people who expect top quality for low prices, or they order something other than basic Mexican food (enchiladas, tacos, flautas, etc..) For atmosphere, price, service, and taste, I give it 5 stars.
User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsWhen I first turned 21 we went there for potent (but somewhat not tasting like a real) margaritas. Then I ate there. I've eaten there twice. Both times was terrible. Poor service both times. Food is very greasy and made me ill the first time. Second time the food was an iota better but still, I wanted my fried ice cream...The dough or whatever they fry the ice cream in was still not cooked. It was ice cream incased in raw dough. So if you can avoid it....do....Go to Margaritas or Cinco De Mayo (which changed its name but its by walgreens. save yourself!!!
User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsThe worst dining experience of my life! The food is sub-standard. Frozen peas and carrots in the Spanish rice? Why? The peas were cold like they had NOT been heated but like they had thawed in the hot rice. A sauce on the cheese enchiladas was super sweet like canned tomato sauce with lots of sugar, nasty brown lettuce in a taco, and covered with what appeared to be Jack cheese but was bland white cheese. Even the cheddar cheese was bland. The tea was clear like water. Then our waiter was not able to understand basic questions. This was topped off with one of the waiters flashing a pornographic picture male full frontal nudity at the cashier and a waitress while customers where waiting to pay for their lunch. I made an attempt to bring this event to the manager/owner attention Mr. Fernado Lopez, but he was not conversant well enough in English nor I in Spanish. I hope that this is not the kind of service people in Huntsville will allow for long. There are lots of good restaurants in Huntsville but, this is not one of them. DONâT GO THERE! YUK Never again.

Just read LParker's review. I've been in huntsville for 6 years and the the food has not improved at all. Low quality food being used, brown lettuce at the tips, crappy service. That dude totally hit the nail on the head.
