    Incompetent staff resulted in cheating me out of $3500.00! I went to Westside Chevrolet and bought a new 09 Malibu LTZ during the Cash for Clunkers (CARS) program. I bought the car on a Sunday and the following Friday (nearly a week later) they called me to say that the car I bought did not qualify for the program and I had to bring it back.


    They had punched in the LS model with the smaller engine on the CARS website, but the LTZ came with the 6 cylinder which made it not qualify due to gas mileage restrictions. I'm sure I could have gotten a lawyer and kept the car since I had a contract, but Keith Ward the sales manager promised me they would "work with me." and gave me a "My handshake is my promise" load of crap. I took the car back and got my "clunker" on Friday evening-They did not give me my title back at the time because some office was already locked up for the night. The next day, Saturday, was the last day of the CARS program, and every other dealer in Houston tole me "No Deal if no title in hand." I could not get my title because Westside is closed on Saturdays. I even drove an hour to get to this dealership-What a mistake! I was really happy with my car for the 5 days I had it. Avoid this dealership. There are too many others to choose from in Houston.

    WILL NEVER TRY TO DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!!!!!!! MANAGER KEITH WARD IS A JOKE. I WENT THERE READY TO BUY AN AVEO FOR MY DAD, TRYING TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE CASH FOR CLUNKERS PROGRAM. THEIR PRICE WAS HIGHER THAN WHAT I HAD FOUND ON THE INTERNET BY $3000. WHEN I TOLD THE SALES PERSON THAT THE PRICE WAS TOO HIGH, HE BROUGHT SO CALLED MANAGER KEITH, WITH AN OFFER IN WHICH HE ONLY INCREASED THE AMOUNT OF MONTHS ON THE LOAN. I TOLD HIM HE WASNT DOING ANYTHING FOR ME. HE TOLD ME AND I QUOTE. "DO YOU THINK IM BULLSHITING WITH YOU?, DO YOU THINK I GO TO THE STORE WITH CUPONS AND ASK FOR A BETTER PRICE?" I COULDNT BELIEVE THAT!!!! I ASKED HIM NOT TO TALK TO ME LIKE THAT! ONLY FOR HIM TO STAND UP AND WALK OUT THE ROOM SAYING I HAD JUST LOST THE BEST DEAL OF MY LIFE! I KNOW BUYING AN UNEXPENSIVE CAR LIKE AN AVEO IS NOT GONNA MAKE OR BREAK A DEALERSHIP, BUT BELIEVE ME I KNOW A LOT OF PEOPLE ON THE KATY AREA, AND I WILL MAKE SURE TO BAD MOUTH THAT SO CALLED DEALERSHIP!!!!! SOONER OR LATER WORD OF MOUTH CATCHES UP TO A BUSINESS.

    DO NOT PAY FOR NAVIGATION! Our new 2009 Chevrolet Traverse LTZ came with a $2000 Navigation System that doesn't work! When we test drove our vehicle the Navigation DVD was not in the system, therefore, you could not test it. It wasn’t until we took delivery of the vehicle and arrived at home that we discovered this serious problem. I truly feel ripped off and cheated after paying $2000 for such an upgrade that obviously was falsely advertised to us at the time of purchase.

    Parkway Chevrolet has had our vehicle longer than we have since we purchased it and has placed hundreds of test miles on it, not to mention dings and scratches that have added character to our new vehicle. The dealership has concluded that there is nothing that they can do for us. They won't even refund our $3000 for the system that doesn't work. They also had a General Motors Representative visit and test drive our vehicle and he also will do nothing for us, as well. The owner of this dealership is extremely rude and unprofessional and I won't even waste your time to speak of the service department’s management and staff’s unprofessional customer service skills. The only pleasant person is their wonderful day-time receptionist Jess. Parkway wanted to blame GM for all the problems.

    The dealership’s service manager first accused our after-market Clifford alarm system of causing the problem, so we contacted the installer and had it removed (another $600 loss), even though we called and complained the first night before the alarm was installed. Our navigation system will not get you to an entered destination. It doesn’t even get close to the target. When you attempt to display your current location, it is off by several blocks from the actual GPS location. Why would you purchase such an upgrade at such a high cost that doesn’t provide accurate information? It is worthless!

    THOSE GUYS AT WESTSIDE ARE CROOKS,I TOOK MY CAR THERE FOR AN OIL CHANGE THEY TRIED TO CHARGE ME $1100.00 BUCKS. THEY TRIED TO CLAIM I NEEDED A NEW OIL PAN AND PLUG. TOOK IT TO FIRESTONE A MONTH LATER, THEY FIXED THE PLUG FOR FREE AND THE OIL CHANGE COST ME $38.00 BUCKS.
