Great Place! It Has a wonderful atmosphere and plays only sinatra music. I have gone on many dates there. They do kind of rush you when its close to closing. You can just feel the tension from the waiter ect.. I dont reccomend going too close to closing unless you want to take half of your food to go.
Dont gloss over the appetizers I have often gone with friends and made a few appetizers a meal. I HIGHLY Reccomend the Calamari Steak, It has a melt in your mouth texture and is by far the best I have ever had and its a steal @ $6 or $7. The crab cakes are unique plus they are huge, I also like the muscles in a light white wine sauce. My mom really likes the itallian quesidillas.
The house salad is just great, it has fresh delicate greens, juiliane slices of green apple and a house dressing that brings it to life.
For the main dish I reccomend the crawfish fettucini. I made the mistake of asking them to leave out the jalapinios when I first ordered it, but they are necessary to bring out the flavor of the dish don't be afraid of them they are fresh not cooked or pickled and sliced so small that they are not spicy. the fettucini is made fresh and is so tender. the desserts are a must try as well, all that I have tried are amazing.
Some people say that it is pricy but, compared to Olive Garden its less expensive and the food is miles above in quality. They make Olive Garden taste like a stouffers TV dinner. Amazingly the prices have stayed the same for the last 10 years. Give them a try and you wolnt be dissapointed.
This is if not the best, one of the top italian resturants I have been to since moving to Houston. When ever anyone comes to visit me,I simply must take them to dinner here. The staff is friendly, and your beverage never sits long without having a refill. The owner of the business is always around and is a very nice person. I have gone dozens of times, and every time I go,no matter what I see on the menu, the Blackend ShrimpFetticuni dish is highly recommended. Nice huge chunks of Shrimp and bacon covered with an italian sauce is simply delicious. Also, the mushrooms in italian wine sauce is a great way to start off your meal. A+ Dining in my book
Good but could be even better!: The Atmosphere is a plus and the Sinatra playing is a mood topper! The food is pretty tasty. A little pricy, but tasty. I was a little disappointed with getting rushed. The restaurant was practically closing while you were eating (complete with vacuum overpowering the Sinatra). The only saving graces here was the server, who was great despite the obstacles that were not in his control, the food, oh...and the dessert - very good! Great job on your service "Jet"! I believe this place has the capability to be a strong 4 possibly a weak 5, but on this trip a 3 due to the fact that closing was a little more important then the customer and the dining experience. I believe if you catch them earlier, you may have a better experience.
