I have visited Riverbend on several occasions in the past 7 years, I am sure that the grease used the first time was the grease used the last time. The only thing they donât fry is the salad, and that is by request only. There are often drunken fishermen loitering about arguing the restaurants' policy of no free clothing, picking fights over shuffle board, and attempting to steal beverage containers. My advice when visiting Matagorda is to pack a sandwich because Riverbend sucks.

User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsBest seafood you will find in the Gulf Coast area. We have lived in Houston for over 30 years. Travelled alot of place along the coast. Best Food we have ever had. Plan on going back at the holidays with family
