My daughter and I found Keller Academy about 6 years ago after a year of trying other local studios. We just could not find a home at the other studios like we have at KAPA. They simply did not offer the same standards. The other studios simply did not offer the level of education and professionalism that KAPA offers. KAPA is the only Royal Academy certified studio around. Believe me I have done my research and it was a hard year on my daughter searching for the right studio. We are so thankful we found KAPA and have made it our home. We think so highly of KAPA that we travel from Needville to East Bernard for her classes. We love Mrs. Tanya and her staff. They have started my daughter with a great foundation that she continues to build on every year. We have competed and brought home top honors and are always complemented on how well my daughter performs. Mrs. Tanya has a strong Christian belief and that is the core of her teaching. She feels very strongly that the music, dance moves and costumes be age appropriate. That is very important to me as a mother. She also teaches propery terminology and the history of dance. It is wonderful that my daughter is not only learning dance steps and positions but that she knows what they mean and where they come from. The other thing I love is she teaches each and every dancer a sense of self worth. She helps them build on their strengths in their dance and personal lives. She incorporates good nutrition and proper behavior in every lesson. I see my daughter learning and striving to be like Mrs. Tanya that is the best role model I could ask for. Not Hannah Montana or another movie star but her dance teacher. I think that speaks volumes to her abilities and her love for her students. You will not find what KAPA has to offer anywhere else.
