A favorite day-off location for my buddies. The atmosphere, admittedly, is very conservative, but that shouldn't let you overlook the top-notch coffee and refreshments. The staff is friendly, and the prices are great, with a 20-oz cup costing only 2 dollars, and refills are free. The flavors are all worth a try, with my personal favorite being the rather strong southern pecan. If you're just passing through the area, its also a great photo op, very reminiscent of Edward Hopper's "Gas" (in fact, it was built out of an old gas station, hence the name).
What a great find. The food is great, made fresh while you wait. They have done a great job filling a void, by offering great food at a great price. The live music on Sundays is a nice added feature.
i am a huge critic when it comes to coffee, but the richmond coffee station gets 5 stars.
why is it worth a visit?
it has an awesome environment, cheap prices, and a HUGE variety. not only is their coffee fantastic (unlike starbucks, you can taste the individual flavers), their ice cream is really good, their pastries are really good, their gifts are awesome (especially for somebody looking for a christian theme), and they have free wi-fi. also, they serve an awesome breakfast on saturday and sunday mornings. i go there almost every sunday morning and buy an omelete.
i can ramble on and on because i'm a regular here, but the richmond coffee station is really worth a try and it wouldn't kill you to shell out a few bucks and try it. i hope that this email has encouraged your to try the RCS.
great place to bring your girlfriend/boyfriend
