    We have had nothing but GREAT service and GREAT food. We have taken several business associates there for dinner and have never been disappointed!! The waiters are very well informed about the wine selections. We consider it a nice getaway from the usual Katy fare.

    I second the HORRIBLE opinion. AWFUL, AWFUL, AWFUL!!!! We took my father in law from California there for a special dinner during his visit. The steak filet special that he and my husband ordered was served like roast beef and tough! They couldn't even cut it with a steak knife. My pasta dish was something I could have made at home with canned spaghetti sauce.

    We will not be back. I have to wonder if this place is going under considering how lousy the ingredients are. Who ever heard of a tough filet????

    If you are looking for crummy food and overpriced meals make sure you visit Bistro 829, otherwise stay away!
