We bought a new vehicle and traded in our own. Their pricing was fantastic, as was the trade in value they offered. However, since it was late at night we missed a few things, seems our brand new vehicle not only had a few scratches, but pieces of paint missing the size of my pinky nail. They didn't bother to clean up the car or fill up the tank before sending us on our way.
When we called about the body work they had us bring it in. After an hour drive up there late at night, the sales manager said he didn't realize how bad it was, we'd have to bring it back a week later and leave it for the day. My spouse told him on the phone that paint was missing. *sigh*
The Caliber they put us in was completely on empty and practically on it's last leg. After fixing it, and buffing it, my spouse noticed white spots on our black car. It's called rail dust. The clear coat was contaminated. We now have to bring it back up there yet again.
A month after the initial purchase we had to pay two car payments, they never paid off my trade in! They also won't refund us the payment amount, though the initial paperwork was done at a lower pay off price.
It's been one thing after another. I've bought numerous vehicles and this is the first problem I've ever had!
my wife and I bought a 2007 Durango from Archer in August of 07' and we are very happy with the service and professionalism of the staff there. We were treated very well and given many options as to what we wanted in our Durango. The Durango is certainly the best vehicle we have ever purchased, Archer can definately count on us to return for our next vehicle! Thanks Archer for your great service and great vehicles!
We went to Archer to buy a Magnum and we explained to them that our credit wasn't that great and they told us that we would be upside down on our trade in. We talked with a sales person for quite some time figuring out a number we'd be comfortable with and since is was the end of the night, the finance guy just told our sales rep to give us the car and we'd sign papers the next day. Needless to say the next day we called to set up a time to sign and the guy told us that we weren't approved! But the night before he told us that we were and it was just horrible of them to tell us to clean out our car and take theirs. There sales people need to be taught when to shut up and wait for the finance guys to tell them yes or no and the finance guys need to not dismiss us just because it's the end of the night. DONT GO TO THIS DEALERSHIP!!! Sales staff does even know the specifics of the car their selling, he had to get a brouschor!!HORRIBLE PLACE
