   I went there as an urgent care kind of thing. The staff were very efficient with the timing and the dr. seemed to really have concern. my only concern was afterward, when I called to order contacts it took several extra weeks to get them to me. I was told they were on back order, however I had to call them to get that information. I think I would have been a lot less fussy if they had called me when they found out about it.

   i totally know how you feel. i had to wait a whole month for my contacts which were on backorder too. i also had to call several times to see what was going on. as far as the doctor he was real good i loved him and his staff they were nice. FYI just order your contacts elsewhere.

   Be Extremely Careful: My experience with this office was very eventful and awful. Dr. Pickering has a practice of ordering products for his patients without their approval or consent. He does not discuss their options with them either. His practice and staff were very unprofessional because they failed to provide a common courtesy of consideration of the patients needs and available resources. I feel that I should have been made aware of what my expenses and options were before hand to ensure that I was prepared to take care of any additional expenses. Not only was I surprised by the additional expenses but my situation and expenses and issues were discussed in front of all of the other patients waiting in the waiting area. Then I was followed to the store next door to further discuss my issues in front of more people.
   
   I would not recommend anyone to this office or doctor. This was my first visit here and the last. I've wore glasses and contacts for several years and this was the first time I've ever experienced anything like this.
   
   Good luck to those of you who decide to use his service. Be sure to ask as many questions as you can. Actually write them down before you go beforehand to make sure you do not forget anything.

   WONDERFUL EYE CARE!!!!!: I have beenseeing Dr. Pickering for 8 years and I love him! If doesnt try to cheat you out of your money and he will give you helpful hints to make your contacts last you longer. He and his staff will answer any questions you have. They are easy going and get you in and out as fast as they can. My whole family goes to him. If you need a good doctor and you don't know one I think you should try him out.
