User Rating: 3 out of 5 starsThe food was great but the service neeeded work. The waiters / waitresses seemed overwhelmed and undertrained. Ours was trying very hard but seemed very inexperienced. I won't be back anytime soon.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsRecently I visited the Gringo's Mexican Restaurant in La Porte, Texas. One of my friends gave me a gift certificate in December of 2007 to eat there. It is the best food I have ever tasted. Service at this location was outstanding! I had always heard it served really good food and that is true.
I highly recommend it. Drop by at a location near you folks. You will really enjoy the atmosphere and awesome food. We had the sample platter and the carne guisada not to mention the chips with the red and green sausce to go with it.
Today is Sunday January 13, 2008, and I am treating my son and daughter-n-law to lunch at the Spring, Texas location.
GRINGO'S RESTAURANT IS THE PLACE TO BE!!!!!-

Gringo's is not the same since the two hot twins quit working there. I use to spend hours up there staring at those beautiful tetas.
