I have lived in Dayton 11 years and my family has been to Dr. Redman's office several times the staff is nice and try their best to make sure their diagnosis is right the first time, however, EVEN with an appt. the wait is is hours long and if you are really sick you still have to wait for hours. Everytime we have a 9 am appt. we do not get seen till 12 noon every single time and we later found out that Dr. Redman NEVER gets to the office until after 10 am no exceptions so why would they make you a 9am appt if he don't arrive till 10am it puts everyone at least an hour behind and I am sorry but people have lives and things to get done and should not have to wait on a Dr. to show up whenever he wants to.
I have been going to Redman since I was pregnant with my son who is now 6yrs old. I even love their lab personel. They do everything they can to make your visit comfortable. Sometimes the wait is long. I take that time to take a small rest in. But, if you put an appt in then like all offices you will be priority. They do not like short cuts at all. They do everything to find out the exact reason for your illness, and find the right medicine for you without making you a lab rat. They are very good with children also. If you need to go to someone else, they have very great recommendations depending on the situation. I prefer to go to them than the city doctors. I hope you can give them a chance.
Staff more interested in finding light bulbs than helping 90 year old man in wheelchair! How many nurses/office staff does it take to find a lightbulb at Redmans? count 'em... 4! Meanwhile - old man is very ill, can hardly hold head up, must have help from family member and is made to wait over 30 minutes just to move into an exam room, another 30 minutes and the pair left! Said they couldn't wait for staff to find bulb OR see the dr. Toooooo hot - heat on during summer? Would never attempt to see this Dr. again.

That must have been your only time there. Trust me, they are wonderful. You must have had a high temp that day, because my family and friends never burn up there. I trust them more than those city doctors. You wait hours, sometimes all day, with them. So, I go to them all the time, even just to say hi. They knew what kind of medicine to give me for my seizures right away instead of making me play lab rat with different ones. They also only have a few rooms, so depending on the time you go in there depends on the wait. I always go in the morning around opening time so the wait in shorter. I hope you can give them another chance.
