Golden Corral Restaurants

I have been to better Golden Corrals. This one has a problem with dirty dishes and eating utensils. There always seem to be dried food on plates and silverware. Looks horrible. Sometimes the drinking glasses are just as bad. I have never had to complain about the food but it does make you wonder, if the plates are that dirty, what about the cooking pots and trays? Just wondering. I do like the service there though. Servers pay alot of attention to you, which I really like.

I visited this restaurant for the first and the last time. The plates were dirty with chunks of food stuck to the bottom of more than one plate I picked up to use. My sister had to pick from a couple of plates also because we kept running across dirty plates. Though they have a wide variety of foods to choose from the taste leaves something to be desired...especially the deserts. I was very impressed with the salad bar though. They have a wide variety of toppings to choose from. The best thing was the salad bar. The fried fish and the grilled pork steak was also pretty good. The salsibury steak was under done (it was pink in the middle), the peach cobbler was tart, and the spicy chicken pieces were dry and hard. On an up side I give the service an A+++++. The waitress we had was wonderful. She was very attentive to our needs. She checked on us often and had a great and pleasent personality. We gave her a nice tip BEFORE we were done eating, and even after she had received her tip she still kept the same diligence of service and kindness that she had before she had been tipped. Food was not so great, but the service was wonderful.

Lots to choose from but was not impressed at all. Dirty plates and glasses. Service was good but food left something to be desired...
