Johnny Carino's Italian

Everyone is friendly but it takes FOREVER to get your food. I had to catch a flight in Austin so I only had an hour to eat after we were seated. So I asked for the quickest thing on the menu and it didn't come for 45 minutes. I had to take it to go and then didn't eat it anyway. This is not a one time experience either. I've been there three times and each time it takes ridiculously long to get food. The staff seems nice enough but I wouldn't recommend going there if you are in a hurry.

Johnny Carino's is one of College Stations best resterants. I have been there on three Occations,( alone, with a guest, and with family members ) and each visit was a most memorable time. Great service and a clean resterant is always nice, but the food is fabulous, and the atmosphere is most relaxing. You know your in for a treat when they bring the homemade bread served with an oil, that seems to explode with flavor on your pallet, to some of the best food I have ever tasted. Everybody I have taken to Carino's have enjoyed it so much that they go to there on every special occation that they can make up. Hats off and thumbs up to Johnny's. One of the best Italian resterants that I have been to in a long time.
When it is all said and done with you do not have to take out a loan to pay for your meal, the bill is most reasonable and you actually feel good about leaving a tip for the service that you recieve.

Best tiramisu ever! Great food, always good service. I love the bread you get before your meal, and the prices aren't that bad for the portions. I LOVE eating here!
