    I had to give this place a try while on a visit to CS since everyone I know from A&M raves about it. The chicken fingers themselves weren't anything special. They were good but you can get just as good chicken fingers at a dozen other fast food places. What really sets the place apart is the great sauce that goes with the chicken. Most places give you either white gravy or honey mustard. Layne's sauce is a thin brown sauce with a very strong taste of black pepper and vinegar. If you don't like black pepper you probably won't like it but I loved it. The girl at the drive through was very friendly as well, It was probably the friendliest and most personable drive through experience I've ever had.

    I absolutely love layes. there is a sandwhich called the club its toast with this wondering seasoning in the butter. There are strips of bacon. Real cooked bacon and crispy. not fake like at restaraunts. Then there is a piece of cheese. Its almost like a grilled cheese but there is friend chicken strips in the middle with or with out sauce whichever you prefer. But the sauce is amazing and a little spicey but not too much its amazing it just melts in your mouth. The chicken is so flavorful and juicey and crunchy at the same time. Amazing. Also there are tons of fries and a drink its like $5.50. Can't beat that!

    THE BEST EVER: The first time I went there I was a little frightened because everyone else looked like pro's when they ordered. I didn't like the sauce at first but now I LOVE LAYNES. They have the absolute best chicken fingers ever, and their sauce is to die for. Raising cane's just opened right next door and their chicken tenders and sauce is horrible compared to laynes! AGGIELAND LOVES LAYNES!!!
