    It's a shame...really.
    They messed up our order.
We placed an order and were told it'd be here in 45min.
For the next 90min after wondering and worrying, we decided
to call them...the manager told us that he saw our order just
sitting on the counter and he wondered what to do about it
    for 20min time.
    HUMPH!
I guess he didn't care about one order getting lost for he claimed
    they were swamped that night.
Just makes you wonder was he gonna call us to let us know
what happened to our order eventually or was he gonna just
pretend that he didn't see anything???
It is a shame that they don't put that taking care of customers
    sort of attitude...
Oh, another interesting thing worth noting about this particular
place is that a few weeks ago we stopped at our neighborhood
gas station and saw pizza hut delivery car pumping gas.
We kind of wondered if that was before or after his delivery...
After getting home, what a coincidence!!, we saw the same
exact delivery car parked at our neighbor's driveway...
Apparently, he was at the gas station BEFORE delivering the
pizza!!! (I personally would hate for the deliver to be handling my
pizza with gassy smelly hand, wouldn't you??? and not to mention
    the delay...)
I will have to take my business elsewhere...

I definitely understand your concern. You were told 45 minutes and it was going over an hour and half and you hadn't seen or heard any sign of your order. Also, you saw a delivery driver getting gas and then minutes later delivering a pizza to your neighbor. Did he wash his hands? I doubt it either. However, I find it very unlikely for there to be enough gas on his hand to go through the insulated bag and through the box. The thing that really gets me is that the delivery charge at Pizza Hut is $2.50 and the drivers only get a portion of that fee. I believe currently it's .87 cents. The delivery charge is a floating fee for the drivers but not for the customers. For instance, if gas is at 4.00 they'll give the delivery drivers a $1.50 a delivery but since gas has lowered they have not lowered the delivery fee but lowered the drivers pay. They already make minimum wage and put outrageous amounts of wear and tear on there cars. It's not much of surprise to me that he was getting gas before a delivery or maybe even after a delivery. I assure you if the drivers were actually making enough money to go fill up there tank before going to work they would. I know this much of a jumbled response but as for them not calling you about your order and it being an excessive amount of time, I completely understand that as well. I used to work there for about 8 years. I recently quit on Oct 5th of 2008. Pizza Hut doesn't want to pay employees anything. They want us to work for nothing. Thus, making it hard to keep employees in the store. Some nights we'll have tons of people...other nights no people. Customers then call wondering what's taking so long on there orders. It is originally the employees fault for giving a false time, even though at that specific time it probably was a legitimate time. Then all of sudden more customers call but there is no one in the store to handle the rush. I know it's hard to explain all this, but it's not the employees fault all the time. It's the company as a whole. They are so money hungry that they doesn't even see what's really happening to Pizza Hut. All the good workers have left because they've been used and abused now all they can do is hire the left overs. In my eyes Pizza Hut is in a lot of trouble. They are still few dedicated and committed workers that work for Pizza Hut but it's because they have no where else to go. It's all they know. I really apologize that they didn't give you the service you deserved but if you really knew what was going on with these stores, not that it is your problem since you're the customer, but you'd very disappointed with the company as a whole and realize that you would be better off taking your business somewhere else.
