With so many local and regional banks in Boerne and a history of taking over the long standing and wonderfully loved Boerne State Bank, you would think that Bank of America would work to keep such a standing.

Not Bank of America. The people working there are local, but the policy is from someplace like New York City.

Your deposits from local checks can take up to over 7 days to be honored even though it takes about 1 business day for Bank of America to have the funds secured. Out of state banks take longer.

How about $20 a month account fees for accounts with healthy balances?

How about $38 dishonored check fees "earned" while the funds are sitting in the bank but the bank says they have to sit there a few more days?

Don't forget the incredibly high fees on the Bank of America MasterCard that they push on you.

With local banks like Texas Heritage, Security State, Broadway and Frost and credit unions like Security Service and now Randolf, why would anyone deal with the fees and policies of Bank of America?

If you want to go national, you have Wells Fargo.

Sorry Bank of America. I am tired of subsidizing your bad business practices and am moving my money elsewhere.
