User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsEvery one-horse town in the Great State of Texas has a Bar-B-Q room, I've probably been to over a hundred, but I've NEVER been to a better one than White's. The brisket is absolutely the BEST I've ever tasted. Consistently juicy, perfectly smoked and always lean. (But if you like the fat, which IS fantastic as well, just tell 'em and they'll be happy to leave some on there for ya!) Believe me White's B-B-Q is worthy of FIVE STARS. Established in the 1950's and family owned and operated ever since. It may not be "suit and tie" but you will NOT find better B-B-Q ANYWHERE! Fantastic "Blooming Onions", and those "Big Daddy Burgers"! WOW! They start with 3/4 lb. pure beef hand-formed patties and let you build it at the "fixins' bar". My wife and I try to have one once a week. If you visit our town and DON'T visit White's B-B-Q, you're gonna miss the best there is, and you'll have to kick yourself for it the rest of your life! BTW, the owner also runs a successful offshore charter fishing charter service on the side. He knows where to find them and he WILL hook you up!
