Longhorn Saloon

I have lived in Texas since 2005 and have never been to a Rodeo, nor have I had the opportunity to make it to the Longhorne Saloon. Well, this past Friday, July 18 that came into fruition. My childhood friend has come to stay with me since the death of my husband, and she loves the Rodeo, cowboy, John Wayne, Texas, hahaha! Well, we made it to the Rodeo and while there we were told of the Longhorn Saloon. We followed the crowd there and had an incredible night. The people were so friendly, and the music was great. Everyone was dancing, and having a good time. We plan on going back, and have decided this is the place to go on the weekends. Thanks Texas, for showing that Texan hospitality to my good friend.

I was at the Longhorn Saloon on September 1. It was one of the most fun bars I have ever been to. Everyone was so friendly and really made me feel at home. The music was great, the food was great, and the service was exceptional. I have already told a lot of people that if they go to San Antonio they need to go to Bandera and the Longhorn Saloon. If you are looking for real cowboys this is the place!!
