User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsI am sad to say that I was very disappointed in this resturant as a whole. Other then the unique setting there was nothing redeeming about this resturant. Right off the soft drinks priced at $1.75 came served in a can, and no free refills, which I just think is tacky. You start off feeling ripped off. Then the food itself was fair at best. It was overpriced for the quality. I didn't even finish my entree because it didn't even appeal to my liking. I was sorely disappointed and will not be returning. The couple we dined with felt very similar.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsMy family and I dined at Huisache Grill for my husband's birthday when were in New Braunfels. We live in Houston. There was a bit of a wait but definitely worth it! I ordered the Blue Cheese Steak which was the most amazing and tasty steak I've ever had! No other steak has compared. I can't wait to get back. It was hard to find since it was nestled into a neighborhood. The courtyard Huisache was in was beautiful and the flowers were in full bloom. In the courtyard is also some charming boutiques and shops.

My dad takes me here on my birthday. It is wonderful. I highly rec ommend the tortilla soup with generous portions of white meat chicken, lots of cheese, and bits of avecado. My husband gets the spinach salad and says it is wonderful made with baby spinach, bleu cheese crumbles, apple pieces, & carmelized walnuts. I would highly recommend this eatery to anyone going to the New Braunfel area.
