Been a customer since they opened. Moved to CA for 13 yrs & anytime I get a chance to go to NB to visit Dad or family, have to go & eat @ Pat's Place. Same food, same menu & as I am a creature of habit always have the same thing - the enchilada w/lettuce & tomatoes. Still love it! Have tried some of the other goodies - the fried pickle chips are the BOMB! Gotta try it - it's an "old tradition" - gotta try it.
Horrible service!!! We waited 2 hours with nothing more to show than greasy appetizers. We left with our food in to go container without so much as an slight apology. I even called and the 'manager' on duty really didn't want to let me talk to anyone else. She said she supervised the wait staff, but seemed offended when I told she didn't do her job if she had no I idea what happened. Maybe Pat needs to invest in some professional staff and training if he wants anybody to ever return after one visit.
I would advise nobody to waste their time even going for a first visit - It isn't worth your time.
Hamburgers: Surprisingly good hamburgers, skip the onion rings.

Me and my family have been to pat's place since I was a fetus. You would do well to recognize that a place that serves food for a certain price is going to be swamped at some point. Waiting staff only gets paid minimum wage and your non-existent tips. I hate when people misrepresent an entire establishment because of their one bad experience. Pat's has the best food in town for the price, hands down. At it's heart is a great establishment and normally your only going to have a wait if it's buisy, which is to be expected.
