We had the worst car buying experience ever! We show up on Memorial Day to find there is only the inventory guy there. He tells us that the suburban that we saw on the internet has not been sold but we can't find it on either lot. Then about an hour later we were about to leave when at 10am the sales guys show up and they can't find the blue suburban either! Their other sales manager is using it and it will take her about 20 minutes for her to get it in. We wait another hour and a half. Then we drive it and decide this is the one we want, sales manager guy has us sign papers and he is off to his next sale. He promised to get matching tires (or at least see about us buying 2 more to match the other two at a discount) but nothing was ever said after we signed the paper, he said that he was going to get it cleaned but that was a joke because they simply ran it through the wash. I know they did not vacuum the seats, I found a $20 bill in the passenger seat!
Lucky me! They let us get in it and the gas tank was almost empty and the sticker was still on the windshield, and this was supposed to be ready to drive off the lot! The guy said to bring it back the next day so he could take the sticker off and clean it better and put some gas in it. So we did, keep in mind this dealership is 30 miles away, and when we picked it up, the only thing that happened was that the sticker had been removed, and light vacuuming and another wash job. Nothing ever said about the tires, still no gas. I seriously thought that all vehicles left the lot with a full tank of gas. When I left my trade-in there (a suburban) there was 3/4 tank and yet I get this one with barely enough to get me home on!!!
I would not tell my friends to go there, I would pay them 100.00 not to go. (This is part of their referral program)
Today I call because I wanted to check on when I should receive the extra key Sales manager guy from Colorado was supposed to order was to come in and guess what, parts guy has no earthly idea what I am talking about! So tell Colorado guy to quit drinking his red bull and slow down so he can do some real customer service!!!! Duke in parts did call me back to let me know that he was going to follow through with ordering me a key now that it is a month later. I am really disappointed in the service I received and am telling all of my friends.
I think the least you could have done was fill my tank up with gas and I would have been a happy camper. My husband and I are extremely disappointed, and my husband is hardly every upset, but he was about this. They did not know his name, only as the suburban guy, hence the nameâ sales manager guy.â We will not return, but will try another place like Atzenhoffer Chevrolet in Victoria. We went there last time and it was WONDERFUL!
