| About: | The dramatic flaming torches positioned under an open-beam canopy outside the restaurant promises something different and the food delivers on that promise.A Southwestern theme is emphasized with pine timbers, pleasing shades of turquoise and terracotta, and lots of Native American accessories. The restaurant is always busy during lunch and dinner, so be prepared to wait. Everything that comes out of the kitchen is garnished with spicy goodness. Try the sublime Tudie's Chicken-Fried Tuna, the tender Tahoe Tenderloin or the provocative Desert Fire Pasta. |

THE FOOD AND SERVICES WAS GREAT! BUT THE FAJITAS WAD TUFF AS A BOOT. CALLED MANANGER AND HE SAIS THER NOT A THING HE COULD DO WITH OUT RECITE. TO BAD GREAT EVERY WOULD NOT GO BACK. COULD HAVE LOOKED AT DAYS RECIETS. ALL I WANT WAS REFUN FOR FAJITAS.
I had the Pancho's Enchilada Platter and they were delicious. There was 7 of us at our table & we didn't wait very long for our food at all. I read some of the other reviews and didn't feel the service was bad. I wasn't halfway done with my tea when the waitress came and refilled it. Only down side is that the lunch portions are HUGE! If they would cut the portions and the price in half for lunch I would probably go back more often for lunch. I would not recommend the tea. It was like drinking sugar water with a squirt of lemon.
It had been quite a while since we'd dined here, so we thought we'd try it again.
The menu was still creative, ingredients of high quality, and service good. The preparation was lacking, though. Both our pork and fish were over cooked. The pork was slow cooked, so that could be excused, but cooking the salmon dry was just wrong.
The other hit was on the drinks. The margarita tasted good, but for that price I'd like a bit more tequila.
