    Me and some girls I dance with ate at the restaurant here. Gina ordered a chicken salad that had a long black hair in it. My ice tea had a dead fly in it. If these are the standards then they are very low. Does the kitchen staff wear hair nets? Doesn't the staff check the food and drinks going out? San Antonio is a backwoods dump because of mistakes like this. LA and New York are so much better.

    Stayed here for Fiesta 2008.

    CONS: No free parking - $28/night for valet - or park across the street in the city lot for $7 a night. (no in/out - pay each time you leave the garage) No free wifi in the rooms - $9.95 per connection via dataport. The photos on the website are beautiful, but be aware that the rooms on the other side of the hotel face the city parking garage - and you get a lovely view of it from the balcony. As others have said, you can hear everything going on outside the room. (That includes the construction that started at 7am each morning.. )

    PROS: Riverwalk is right outside the door. Alamo is right around the corner. Walk to everything downtown. Convenient location if you're looking for the downtown/Riverwalk experience. Room was clean and bed was very comfortable.

    Overall Opinion: Room was decent, but overpriced.

    Great hotel, Great service, Great location. Highly recommanded.
    Anyone who doesn't like this hotel needs to get a life.
    Can't wait to go back.
