    Got to get yourself there...: For all those beautiful Monets and Picasso's and all the others in between come right on in and enjoy the art work or marvel at the grounds and picture yourself drinking that mint julep out in the court yard or if you plan to marry soon come and take your bridle photograph on the grounds you'll be surprise at just how beautiful they turn out.

    Feast for the eyes: This is one of the most beautiful spots in San Antonio. The museum has a home exhibit that is always a treat. The collection brought in are diverse, wide reaching, and well documented. But even if art isn't your thing- the McNay is still worth visiting. The building (originally a local mansion that has been expanded) is set on extraordinary gardens. The fountains and grounds are amazing. At certain times of the year the grounds are left open to the public after the museum has closed and there is nothing more romantic than a moonlit evening in the gazebo.
