I like good food and good wine to enjoy with my friends and family this great restaurant has been an excellent one of the many we use to visit and it is closed now. And you enjoy good wine and good food you most go to Meson European Restaurant at N. Loop 1604 and Hardy Oak.

We went there and we had a very good time, the food is delicious specialy
the grilled tenderloin cut of beef served with bearnaise sauce on the side, the le` escargo backed in garlic and the ceasar salad.

I highly recommend Meson to any one.

Good European Dining: L'Etoile is one of a handful of really good Euro/French restaurants in San Antonio. I have dined there a half-dozen times and have always been satisfied. The food is consistently good and occasionally great. One of their specialties is lobster, which you can choose to have cooked in a variety of ways. The lobster bisque is excellent and a regular staple on the menu. The ambiance of the place is great; it has the feel of a European country Inn. The European feel is reinforced by the friendly French-speaking wait staff who observe proper dining etiquette without seeming snooty. The wine menu has plenty of very good wines for any price range. A great place to take a date. Prices are fairly high as San Antonio restaruants go, but are in line with other restaurants of this quality. On my last visit, I really enjoyed the pork tenderloin, which is one of the more moderately priced menu items.
