About:33 acres of lush foliage and colorful blooms beg to be appreciated. A wonderful attraction often overlooked by visitors, the garden is exquisite year round, with something always in bloom. A conservatory, formal gardens, "old-fashioned" gardens and native plant areas provide a variety of interest. This is definitely a must-see for both botany experts and garden-variety folks. If you're visiting in the spring, don't forget your antihistamines. The garden center features a luncheon cafe, a gift shop, guided tours, and adults' and children's classes and is also available for private parties.
Hours:Mo to Su from 09:00am to 05:00pm

There is definatly enough things to see for what you pay for. There was also alot of variety of different plants and trees from everywhere that I can think of. The little lake is amazing. Very good experience.

33 Acres of beauty: Nestled quietly in the city, if you enjoy plants, flowers, peace and quiet or just want to pack a lunch, and read a book in the fresh air, this is a great getaway. Takes about 2-3 hours to walk the entire place. Take plenty of water to drink with you. Wheelchair accessible. Kid friendly too.

Relaxing & interesting: Our playgroup went to the gardens for the Dino exhibit. It was cute and the kids loved the dinosaurs throughout the park. Despite all the walking, it is very relaxing and even my 2 year old enjoyed it without complaint, walking nearly the whole time herself. The best part is you can bring a picnic lunch. I recommend eating by the cabin near the duck pond (kids loved the cabin too). We took about 4 hours and still didn't make it to all the spots on the map, but that gives us an excuse to go back! I hear Gardens By Moonlight is a great event to attend here.
