The service is horrible, besides the ridiculous high prices. The owner, Dan, has absolutely no merit and is not professional. He charges what he calls a "Service" fee, which is normal but raises all the standard fees that are required for licenses such as assumed name, sales tx permit, and other fee. At least be honest and charge the correct fees. Also he is not at his office during the business hours...I'm trying to understand what kind of business this is.
Called ahead to find out hours and location, was told they closed at six. Took off work early to find the place. Arrive to discover that there is a different name on the door (Fannin vs. Gonzales) which was confusing enough, but the door is locked and no one answers! After trying for 10 minutes I return downstairs to have someone in security "ring" upstairs, since I couldnt' get a signal on my cell in the building in order to call, and they get no answer either. Finally go outside to call on my cell, and I'm told "Oh, I'm not doing anything else today, decided to close early". He didn't care that I was waiting outside and had called earlier.
Certainly it's your priority, when in business for yourself, to just decide to "close early", but it's also rude to say you'll be open until 6 and then be unwilling to answer the door when a client arrives. I'm not sure how this guy (found out it's a solo act) pays the rent in his lovely downtown high rise, but I would NOT recommend. Ever.
