See You In September: We were surprised at the friendliness of the staff, the service we received and the close proximity to all the sights that you want to see in San Antonio. In addition, the rooms were very clean and comfortable, and the pool was well-maintained and relaxing, providing a welcome relief after a day of sightseeing.
We'll be returning in September, and will definitely stay at this property. A special thanks to the darling assistant manager for all her help in planning our route. She obviously is a true Texan and understands Texan hospitality!
Great Place to Stay: Okay, in reading the previous reviews I was a little skeptical to stay in this place. But, it was a great choice. My daughter and I came in from Aggieland on Saturday 5/12. We got in late - after 10:30. The room was nice and cool and it was nice to get into a clean, comfy bed. The next day we met some friends early and then came back to the hotel. We took the trolly which picked up right off the property and for a $1 it took us downtown to the Riverwalk. The girl at the front desk was great with directions too. We asked her twice on where a San Antonion would go for something and off we went. When a problem occurred Monday night into Tuesday, but that was taken care of. I would most definitely stay in this hotel again when traveling to San Antonio. Easy location off and on the freeway too. Oh yeah, the bathroom was nice, but the best thing was the shower had water pressure. Which, is a hard thing to find even in your really expensive hotels.
GREAT STAFF AND REMODELED ROOMS!!!!!!: NEWLY RENOVATED AND THE STAFF IS GREAT! EVERYTHING IS WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE AND WE FELT SAFE. THEY HAVE SECURITY AT NIGHT AND FREE PARKING GARAGE, MOST ALL HOTELS DOWNTOWN CHARGE FOR PARKING AND THIS HOTEL DOES NOT.THEY OFFER A COFFEE BAR WITH MUFFINS AND LOTS OF DIFFERENT COFFEES WITH EACH CUP BREWED FRESH WITH REAL COFFEE BEANS, WE THOUGHT THAT WAS THE BEST!
