About:Located just south of downtown in the area aptly named Southtown, this artsy little coffeehouse is small, but it is a favorite with the locals. It features more coffee drinks than you can imagine, plus a fairly decent breakfast and lunch menu. Exhibits of local artists' works grace the walls and rotate on a regular basis, and you can usually expect live music on the weekends. The large porch proves popular during the fall and spring months.

    Love the pesto!: My dad first discovered this quaint cafe downtown and its unusual menu and knew I would appreciate it as well. From the grilled vegetable & pesto sandwiches to the exotic teas, it was refreshing to experience other foods that weren't the typical mainstream cuisine. Lovely.

    over rated: espuma has the luxury of being one of the only indie coffehouses in sa, sadly they take advantage of that fact.

    Is ESPUMA a good coffee house?: If you are looking for a unique place to sit down and read a book, ESPUMA may just be that place. There are not that many coffee houses in S.A. but this one will do. The only bad part is that it is not open later at night their hours are 6pm Mon-Thur and till 10pm on Fridays. I really don't know the weekend schedule. This place is a refreshing alternative to Starbucks and it's overly priced coffee. The best part is that it's locally owned and you get to see some great art while you eat and drink. I have had the ham and swiss wrap and it is great! The Cafe Mocha was a little too sweet but you can always ask them to hold the whip cream on top. The Italian sodas are really good. During first fridays they have live bands playing outside.
