About:Built in 1929, the Majestic boasts of being the prime venue in the city for performing arts. It is managed by the Art Center Enterprises, Inc., which also manages The Charline McCombs Empire Theatre. The architecture reflects influences from the Baroque and the Mediterranean. Elaborate ornamentations, colorful walls with creeping grape vines, statues, a tiled roof and many other design elements convert the venue into a magical setting. Home to touring Broadway shows and the San Antonio Symphony Orchestra, this recently renovated theatre, with a huge stage and grand lobbies, also plays host to private and corporate events.

    Beautiful. Beautiful. Beautiful. You can feel the history as soon as you walk in. All seats are good. Sound is good. Ambience is excellent. The ornate interior is worth the price of admission regardless of the show. Excellent.

    Fabulous Interiors: Its a treat to the eyes to see this historic theatre revived to its glory. The stage is small by the grandiose interiors more than make up for it.
