A phone number for your post office is easy to get. The number is listed on the back of the orange slip you get for large packages or items requiring your signature (like certified mail) or that must be given directly to you (like insured mail), the slip that says you can pick up the item from the post office, or have it redelivered.
You can also ask for the number at the window. You might have to finesse the clerk to give it out, but just say you don't want to hold up the line, could you just have the phone number and call back with your question/concern/whatever. Either way, most of the clerks will gladly hand over one of the orange slips, if only to keep the line moving. I've seen them do it all the time at the really busy stations like on DeZavala, or off Stone Oak Parkway.
ya'll need a phone directly to your post office! it sucks not having a phone because people need to get in contact with you'll and we dont need to be waiting and talking to an automated system!
