I had this "amazing" chicken fried steak. It was possibly the worst chicken fried steak I ever had. It was the first place we went to in San Antonio, and on purpose but it the one memory I want out of my head. The outside crust was very floury and the center of the steak was raw. It was very greasy. Both of us who had the chicken fried steak were sick for the rest of the night. BAD Choice. And this world famous cinnamon roll I didn't even see it on the menu and no one was eating one either.

The potatoes I had on the side were raw. The best thing I ate was a salad, and it came from a bag with bottled ranch dressing.

My service was awesome but the value was terrible for what I received (I didn't want to pay for it).. if the food was good then the value was amazing, but the food wasn't.

awesome!! we went on saturday before labor day and was seated right away. waitress was very attentive. we had the chicken fried steak. hubby had it with queso and i had gravy. son just had a grilled cheese! it was all good! they had tons of the giant cinnamon rolls, the guy filled up the cart three times while we were there, so they were not running out. great place!!!

Well I just visited this place and was disappointed.
For starters the hostess was rude and the place smelled like bad hygiene. Let alone I drove from Austin because my wife is pregnant and had a craving for their cinammon nugget and was told the wait is 2-3 hrs. As if things were good the hostess makes a coment and I quote " things are crazy ever since the T.V. show came here"( Man vs. Food). I just thought to myself, in times like this I take any business that you can have. You know our economy is not that great and you should be glad that you still have a Job!!!So I guess if your willing to wait 1hr for dine-in or 2-3hrs for pick up than this is the place for you!
